Password Protection

This new feature (as of version 7.0) is designed mainly for system administrators - that is to say, primarily for the person in charge of using the program in a school or business (usually in a language lab) who wants to be sure that no one else modifies the program options.

To set a password, go to Tools | Options and click on the Admin. page. If you are setting a new password, click on the Set / Change password button and type the password (twice) in the screen that comes up then click on Exit / Save at the bottom. The box at the top will show the password as being 'on'.

Be sure to set at least one of the options below for Options, Deleting Questions and / or Modifying Personal Lists, otherwise your password won't be protecting anything.

To remove the password, go to the same Admin. page and click on the Remove password button. As a security measure, you will be asked to provide the current password in order to remove it.

And DONT FORGET TO WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSWORD AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE, SECURE PLACE. WE CANNOT RESTORE YOUR PASSWORD FOR YOU!!!
