General Overview

Spanish Whiz (TM) is a three-level program designed to be an aid for anyone who is trying to learn Spanish, from near - beginners to people with advanced levels. Real beginners may feel more comfortable with our StartSpanish program to get started with Spanish, and then use Spanish Whiz to rapidly expand their vocabulary and work on listening and pronunciation. Spanish Whiz contains most of the common Spanish vocabulary and verbs while making an extra effort to give you practice in typical problem areas such as ser and estar, por and para, prepositions, the imperative forms, the subjunctive and idiomatic expressions. You can test yourself in both multiple choice and fill-in question format, and you can even make your own word lists (see Personal Lists).

As well as including the ability to record your progress in a log file, the program has Sound capability to help you with your pronunciation and listening comprehension. A selection of typical verbs and vocabulary sound files are included in the trial version, and you will receive a link to download even more when you buy the program.

Don't forget to use the Help file. It contains a fairly complete discussion of Spanish Grammar and Usage. This is not just your ordinary Help file, but an extra textbook that you get with the program.
