Funny last names (surnames) in Spanish

People in many (not all) Spanish-speaking countries have two last names: the first one is from the father and the second from the mother. So if Paco González Pérez and María Camino Bernáldez have a son named Julio, Julio's full name will be Julio González Camino.

These random combinations of names can be funny, sometimes embarrassingly so. What brought this post to mind was on the news this morning they spoke about a former Spanish minister named Jaime Mayor Oreja. Now depending on how we translate "mayor", his name in English would be "James Larger Ear" or "James Older Ear". (note: last names are never translated into English, I'm just doing so here for the blog so that you can see why some of the names are funny).
