How to say "go jump in a lake" in Spanish

You are losing you patience with someone and want to tell them something like "get lost" or "go soak your head" or "go jump in a lake". What do you say to them in Spanish? One of the popular ways to express the same sentiment is:

¡Vete a freír espárragos!

which is literally "Go fry asparagus!". This expression is not considered vulgar, although the impact can be strong depending on how you say it. I think that the Mexican version is "vete a freír cacahuates" ("go fry peanuts") and there may be other regional variations on the same theme.
