Password Protection

This new feature (as of version 3.7) is designed mainly for system administrators - that is to say, primarily for the person in charge of using the program in a school or business (usually in a language lab) who wants to be sure that no one else modifies the program options.

To set a password, go to the Main Menu under Options and click on Set / Change password. If you are setting a new password, click on the Set / Change password button and type the password (twice) in the screen that comes up then click on Exit / Save at the bottom.

After setting your password, remember that you can use it to prevent other people looking at the common results. This will also prevent anyone from deleting the results in the Log. You can do this by going to Options and setting the Use password to view Log checkbox to Yes.

To remove the password, click on the Remove password under the Options menu. As a security measure, you will be asked to provide the current password in order to remove it.

And DONT FORGET TO WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSWORD AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE, SECURE PLACE. WE CANNOT RESTORE YOUR PASSWORD FOR YOU!!!
