Dictation

Keep the following points in mind when doing the exercises:

One-word dictations, using vocabulary found in StartSpanish, is included in the program in order to help you work on your listening - and secondarily - your writing skills.

When you first start the program, either click on the Listen button, or hit the Enter key, and you will hear the word that you are to type into the upper window. You can use the Listen button as many times as you want.

Actually, you can use the dictations without ever touching your mouse. Hit Enter and you will hear the word. Type it in, hit Enter again, and the program will check your answer. Hit Enter twice more, and you will go to the next question, and then hear the word.

Dictations and Sound Files are the same whether you are using Levels One, Two or Three. These levels correspond to the vocabulary exercises found in the Multiple Choice and Fill In question sections.
