Sound
To hear the Sound files, click on the Sound button and then double-click on one of the sound files you'll see listed.
Then you can 1) click on a word or phrase as many times as you want to hear it, or 2) click on the All button to hear all of the words in order. You can change the Pause time between each word in Tools | Options or on the 'Listen' screen itself..
Click on the Record button to record your own voice. You will have up to seven seconds to record yourself. Click on the Stop button if you finish before the seven seconds is up. The best way to use this feature is 1) click on a word and then 2) record yourself saying the same word or phrase. Each time you record a new word, it records over the one you previously recorded.
Dictations and Sound Files are the same whether you are using Levels One, Two or Three. These levels correspond to the vocabulary exercises found in the Multiple Choice and Fill In question sections.

As of version 9.0, you can copy sound files in order to listen to them later on your iPod or any other device that can play .mp3 files. Just copy the number or letter of the word or phrase you want to copy into the box on the lower right hand side of the Listen screen, choose a location on your computer to save the file, and then save it. Later you can copy it and use it on your favorite .mp3 player. Please note: you can save a maximum of 20 sound files in the Demo version - there are no restrictions in the full version. Also, remember that in Options next to the Set Personal List Folder option, you can choose to save your sound files in the same folder as your Personal List files in order to have everything automatically saved in the same convenient place.
